Meta Ads

Facebook and Instagram remain the fastest way for most local and service businesses to put an offer in front of the right people. The difficulty is not launching a campaign — it is building one that keeps producing enquiries after the first two weeks.

What it is

Meta Ads, defined plainly.

Meta Ads covers paid placements across Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and the Audience Network. We use it primarily for demand generation: reaching people who are not actively searching for you yet, and giving them a reason to act.

A campaign is a system, not a post with money behind it. Account structure, audience logic, creative volume, offer clarity and conversion tracking all have to work together. If one of them is wrong, the others cannot compensate.

The problem

The problem this solves

Most businesses running their own Meta ads hit the same wall. Early results look promising, then costs climb and the quality of enquiries drops. Usually the cause is a single creative carrying the whole account, an audience that is too narrow, or conversion events that are firing incorrectly, so the platform is optimising toward the wrong thing.

The other common case: the ads work, but nobody can tell which ones. Without clean tracking, budget keeps flowing to whatever spent the most rather than whatever produced the most.

What we do

The actual work, itemised.

Everything below is included in a meta ads engagement. If something here is not relevant to your business, we say so and take it out rather than billing for it.

  1. Account and campaign structure

A structure you can actually read — separated by objective and offer, consolidated enough for the algorithm to exit the learning phase rather than fragmenting the budget across a dozen ad sets.

  2. Offer and message development

We define what the ad is actually asking for before writing it. A free quote, a booked call, a first appointment and a purchase each need a different message and a different landing experience.

  3. Creative production and testing

Static, video and UGC-style creative produced in batches, tested against each other, with a clear record of which angle and hook is carrying performance.

  4. Audience and exclusion logic

Broad and interest-based prospecting, custom audiences from your own data, retargeting tiers by intent, and exclusions so you stop paying to reach people who already converted.

  5. Conversion tracking setup

Meta Pixel and Conversions API implemented through Google Tag Manager, event deduplication checked, and lead quality verified against what actually reaches your inbox or CRM.

  6. Weekly optimisation

Budget shifts, creative rotation, audience changes and offer adjustments made on a regular cycle, with the reasoning written down rather than happening silently.

Who it suits

A good fit if you are…

  • Local and service businesses that need a steady flow of enquiries
  • E-commerce brands with a clear margin per order
  • Real estate agencies and developers marketing specific listings or projects
  • Restaurants, hotels and hospitality driving bookings
  • Healthcare, beauty and fitness businesses filling appointment slots
  • Businesses with an existing offer that converts offline but no reliable lead source

Process

How the engagement runs.

  1. 01

    Audit

Existing account, tracking, past creative and lead data reviewed. If there is no account history, we look at the offer, the margins and the competition instead.

  2. 02

    Plan

Objective, budget allocation, audience map, offer and creative angles agreed in writing before anything is built.

  3. 03

    Build

Tracking implemented and verified first, then campaign structure, audiences and the initial creative set.

  4. 04

    Launch

Controlled start with enough budget per ad set to leave the learning phase, and daily checks through the first week.

  5. 05

    Optimise

Weekly review cycle: cut what is not working, scale what is, keep new creative entering the account.

  6. 06

    Report

A monthly report in plain language — spend, cost per result, what changed, what we are doing next.

Outcomes

What we measure, and what we will not promise.

What campaigns produce depends on your market, offer, margins and budget. What we commit to is the quality of the work and the clarity of the measurement. The things we track and report on:

  • Cost per lead or cost per purchase, tracked over time rather than day to day
  • Lead quality measured against what your sales process actually converts
  • Which creative and which audience is producing results, by name
  • Return on ad spend where the revenue data allows it to be calculated honestly
  • Where budget is being wasted, and what we cut
