ROMIUS

Why ROMIUS

Big agency quality.
Without big agency fees.

This is the part of the site where most agencies write something about passion. Here is the actual argument instead.

The economics

Where a large retainer actually goes.

A large agency has costs that have nothing to do with your campaigns: offices, account management, a new business team, senior staff who never touch your account, and a margin calculated on top of all of it. Those costs are real and the agency is not being dishonest about them — but they are paid out of your retainer before a single ad goes live.

For a large advertiser that structure is worth it. The scale of the spend justifies the layers, and there is genuine value in having a team deep enough to cover every discipline at once.

For a business spending a few thousand a month, it is the wrong shape entirely. You are funding a structure built for a client ten times your size, and you are near the bottom of its priority list. That is not a criticism of large agencies. It is a mismatch.

ROMIUS is built for the businesses that mismatch leaves behind.

Side by side

The practical differences.

Generalisations, obviously — plenty of large agencies work differently and plenty of small ones are worse. This is the pattern we hear most often from businesses that come to us after a large-agency relationship.

  Typical large agency ROMIUS
Who does the work Briefed to an account manager, executed by a junior, reviewed by neither The person you brief is the person who builds and optimises it
What the fee covers Campaign work plus offices, management layers and new business overhead Campaign work, strategy and measurement
Turnaround on a change Raised, queued, scheduled into the next sprint Usually the same week, often the same day
Reporting Automated dashboard export, monthly, interpretation optional Verified numbers with written commentary and a recommendation
Account ownership Sometimes held in the agency’s own business manager Always yours — we are granted access, and it can be revoked
Commitment Twelve-month contracts are common Enough time to judge the work fairly, then month to month

One thing we will not claim: that a one-person agency can do everything a fifty-person one can. If a project genuinely needs a large team, we will say so.

What you get

Six things that follow from the structure.

  1. No agency overhead to fund

You are not paying for account managers, a sales team, an office or a layer of people who forward your emails. The work is done by the person you brief.

  2. Direct communication

One contact, who knows your account and answers directly. No ticket queue between a question and an answer.

  3. Decisions made on data

Tracking is set up before spend starts, so budget decisions are made against verified numbers rather than platform defaults and intuition.

  4. Strategy before execution

We establish what the offer is and who it is for before building campaigns. Most underperforming accounts are not a targeting problem.

  5. Transparent reporting

You own every account. You see the real spend, the real results, and a written explanation of what changed and why.

  6. Fast, flexible execution

Changes happen in days, not after the next scheduled review. Scope moves with the business rather than against a twelve-month contract.

To be clear

ROMIUS is not the cheapest option, and should not be.

There will always be someone who will run your ads for a hundred euros a month. They will log in twice, change nothing, and send you a screenshot. That is not a saving.

What ROMIUS offers is better value: proper strategy, careful execution and honest measurement at a price that reflects a lean structure rather than an inflated one. You pay for the work, not for the building it is done in.

Next step

See whether the fit is right.

A first conversation costs nothing and commits you to nothing. If ROMIUS is not the right choice for your situation, we will tell you that too, and usually point you somewhere better.

Replies usually within one business day. No obligation, no sales script.
